Technical Support
The Service
We offer technical support and assistance services for Linux and Windows operating systems. This naturally includes both the management of already installed systems and the possible design and implementation of the entire system. Our technicians can perform network cabling with both copper and fiber cables, set up racks, server rooms, and install uninterruptible power supplies or generators. In particular, the design may include:
- The design of the company LAN and the possible introduction of structured cabling
- Cable routing and rack switch installation
- Installation of servers in any configuration requested by the client
- Testing and release of detailed documentation of the completed system
Once the system has been implemented or the existing system has been taken over, a maintenance contract is prepared, which can be either flat-rate or based on prepaid intervention tickets. The contract includes, in addition to operating system support, potential support for certified software used by the client, particularly:
- Microsoft Office, Office 365, LibreOffice
- Issues related to email and Internet connectivity
- Problems concerning WiFi or LAN connections
- Installation and maintenance of the antivirus software chosen by the client
Technical support can be provided on-site, but in most cases, it is performed remotely using specially installed remote control software and a VPN connection to the client's premises. If all the client's servers are cloud-based, technical support will be entirely remote, except for any on-premise equipment (company laptops, hotspots, switches, etc.).
Corporate Security
This is an increasingly important aspect of the corporate world, and for this reason, we provide, upon request, a standard monitoring service included with technical support. This service involves the installation of hardware configured by us to analyze network traffic and detect potential attacks or intrusions. The technical support service also includes a security assessment to establish a baseline regarding any existing vulnerabilities. Based on the assessment results, we provide the client with various solutions for an immediate resolution of the issues.
Data Protection and Backup
As part of the technical support service, we offer, upon request, a backup service on either on-premise or cloud-based systems, depending on the client's preference. If the client has already implemented a corporate backup service, we will thoroughly verify and take over its routine maintenance. In all other cases, we strongly recommend consulting with our technicians to find a viable solution for corporate data backup that protects the company from accidental or malicious data loss.
